X-Bond seamless overlay system is becoming a preferred finish for clients who are looking for an alternative floor, wall or joinery finish. What is
X-Bond?
A water based, cementitious overlay system which combines stone and liquid polymer. X-Bond is hand applied at 2-3mm thick to floors, walls and joinery.
Substrates X-Bond can go over
X-Bond is applied Insitu over a range of substrates including concrete, tiles, Compressed Sheeting, plaster, villa board, brick, ply, laminate & MDF.
Where X-Bond can be applied
It can be applied both internally and externally in a range of projects including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, education & public spaces.
FINISHES
There are four different X-Bond ranges. X-Bond is sealed with a surface mounting sealer called ‘Satin Stone’ and for external applications or wet areas X-Bond is sealed with a penetrating sealer called ‘Natural Shield’. X-Bond is the combination of colour pigments within the microcement screed. As X-Bond is a hand trowelled product, natural colour variations and visible trowel marks are a natural characteristic of the X-Bond finish which may not be apparent in colour samples provided.
X-Bond Seamless Stone
X-Bond Seamless Stone is hand trowelled at 2-3mm thick over an existing substrate to create a rustic look as it is left in it’s natural form. The finish has visible trowel marks creating texture, tonal and colour variation.

X-Bond Polished Stone
X-Bond Polished Stone is hand trowelled at 2-3mm thick and then sanded to create a polished concrete look. The finish is smooth with tonal and colour variation. The X-Bond Polished Stone finish has a more' ‘industrial’ look.
X-Bond Grain
X-Bond Grain is for external applications only. The X-Bond is applied with a blade which creates texture to achieve a high slip rating.

X-Bond Mineral Finish
If you’re after a highly textured wall finish, or an anti-slip floor, X-Bond Mineral Finish is for you. X-Bond is sprayed onto the existing surface with a spray gun creating a splattered look.

REMODEL WITHOUT REMOVAL
X-Bond allows you to remodel without removal thanks to its advance adhesion and flexibility properties. X-Bond can be applied directly over almost any substrate which means that you save not only the costs and time involved on removing an existing surface, but on material disposal too!
CONCRETE RESURFACING
As X-Bond creates a concrete looking finish, it’s used as a popular alternative to concrete, and can also be applied over an existing concrete slab. As cement is variable by nature, if you’re not happy with your existing concrete slab condition or colour, X-Bond can be hand trowelled over the slab to provide you with a seamless floor finish.
CONCRETE TEXTURE
X-Bond allows you to achieve a concrete textured finish on your floors, walls and joinery, without having to install concrete. We can install X-Bond at a minimal thickness over MDF joinery, plasterboard, compressed sheeting, tiles, brickwork and many more substrates, allowing you to achieve the concrete look and feel in any room.
